Das „VoteEurope Parlament“  

Mit der „Europa 2020 – Strategie“ hat die Europäische Union ihre Ziele für das kommende Jahrzehnt festgelegt. Die Auswirkungen dieser Richtungsentsche­idung werden für die Bürgerinnen und Bürger auch auf lokaler und regionaler Ebene spürbar sein. Wir sind der Meinung, dass die Zukunft Europas nicht allein in Brüssel entschieden werden sollte und laden hiermit ein, an dieser Aufgabe mitzuwirken. Mit der Website http://www.vote-europe.net wollen wir möglichst viele Menschen aktiv an der Auseinandersetzung mit den Themen der „Europa 2020 – Strategie“ beteiligen. Im „VoteEurope Parlament“ werden nicht nur Abstimmungen durchgeführt. Ebenso wichtig ist es, an das virtuelle Rednerpult zu treten und andere von der eigenen Position zu überzeugen oder a uch interessante Ideen beizusteuern.

In the Europe 2020 strategy, the European Union has identified its targets and objectives for the coming decade. The consequences of this far-reaching decision will be felt by European citizens even on the local and municipal level. We hold the view that decisions about the future of Europe should not be a matter for Brussels alone to decide – which is why we invite you today to make your own personal contribution. The website http://www.vote-europe.ne taims to involve as many people as possible in the discussions about the Europe 2020 strategy and its objectives. The VoteEurope Parliament does more than hold votes. It is equally important to step to the virtual microphone in order to argue your case, to convince others of its merits or simply to toss an interesting point into the debate. You can become a member of the virtual VoteEurope Parliament, engage in its debates and use your vote to join us and others when we pass resolutions concerning the future of Europe.
